The TeigTime development team is responsible for TeigTime. For privacy questions, reach us at teigtime@groten.cloud.

Local data storage

Your recipes, schedules, and photos are stored locally on your device (via SwiftData). TeigTime does not operate a server that additionally stores this data.

iCloud sync (Premium only)

With a Premium subscription, you can sync your recipes and active processes across your devices. This sync happens exclusively through your own private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit) — not through a server operated by TeigTime. The TeigTime team has no access to this data.

Camera and photos

If you grant the app camera access, photos are used solely to display in your recipes. They're stored locally like all other app data and, if enabled, synced through your own iCloud.

AI recipe generation

The AI-assisted recipe generation feature uses Apple's on-device language models (Apple Intelligence Foundation Models). Your input is processed entirely on your device; no data is sent to any server.

Advertising (free tier only)

In the free tier, TeigTime displays ads via Google AdMob. Before any ad loads, the app obtains your consent under GDPR through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) and requests tracking permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT). See Google's own privacy policy for details on their ad-tech data processing.

A Premium subscription removes all ads.

Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases (subscription or one-time) are processed entirely through Apple's StoreKit. TeigTime never receives your payment data — it stays with Apple.

No user account

TeigTime doesn't require registration and doesn't store an email address or similar account data.

Data sharing

Data is shared only with the following services, to the extent described: Apple (iCloud sync for Premium; processing app purchases) and Google (AdMob advertising, free tier only, with consent). TeigTime itself operates no server that data is transmitted to.

Your rights

Since all data lives locally on your device (and optionally in your own iCloud), you can view, edit, or delete it directly in the app at any time. Deleting a recipe or the app also removes the data from your iCloud sync.

Children

TeigTime is not directed at children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date of the last change is shown at the top of this page.
